Join members of Les Délices, Cleveland’s premiere Baroque chamber ensemble, for a FREE full-day workshop focused on Francesco Geminiani’s Concerto Grosso “La Folia,” based on Arcangelo Corelli’s Sonata “La Folia” from Suzuki Book 6. Each session within the day-long workshop will explore a different aspect or element of the workshop’s theme: La Folia (or, Musical Madness). Along the way, participants will learn about Baroque style, bowing, and technique, while gaining essential chamber music experience as they learn and rehearse Geminiani’s concerto grosso without a conductor.
