Les Délices’ newest program “Toutes Suites” reflects the immediacy and appeal of French baroque chamber music and its relationship to dance with instrumental suites by Jean-Baptiste Lully and Marin Marais plus François Couperin's seldom heard Ritratto dell'Amore (Portrait of Love), each movement of which reflects the various traits of a lover. This quartet of Cleveland-based musicians is led by baroque oboist Debra Nagy, with Julie Andrijeski (baroque violin), David Ellis (viola da gamba), and Simon Martyn-Ellis (theorbo).
